Solutions for Sales
Oliver Ames is the sales manager at Miller Ltd. and, among other things, defines offer prices for certain products every month.
Sample solution: Supply offer sheets to the dealers
The company Billings Ltd. regularly purchases goods from Miller Ltd.. Special offer prices, which Miller defines every month for certain products, are to be sent to Meyer and the other regular customers every month from now on - preferably in the form of a clear, illustrated price list, which the sales staff can create themselves at short notice.
The sales staff define a product selection to appear on the current price list and create an output template in MeDaPro FastPage. Optionally, predefined layouts can also be used. The selected product data and images are automatically transferred to the template. Afterwards, the created list is output on the colour printer and can be sent out immediately.
Sample solution: BMEcat for major customers
Miller Ltd. has many small craft companies as customers, but also some large companies that order their technical products in large numbers. The Cars Ltd., a good customer of Miller, has now made it condition that Miller sends a BMEcat catalog monthly with its current assortment to integrate it into the purchasing environment of Cars Ltd.. The sales manager has also addressed the managing director several times, whether he wouldn't finally offer the assortment in a marketplace on the Internet.
All products once created in the product information management system can be easily exported to an electronic catalog, e.g. to BMEcat format. For this purpose, the contents of the database are written to the target fields of the desired output format or dialect by means of a mapping (an input-to-output assignment).
Via ConnectPro, orders made from a purchasing system or by a marketplace can be returned to the ERP system of Miller Ltd.. All data up to the invoice can be transferred paperless.
Sample solution: Delegate tasks within teams
Sales Manager Oliver Ames notes that article information is incorporated in a customer catalog unevenly. In addition to inconsistent spellings also missing different product images, even the catalog structure is not perfect yet. In some products, the technical article information seems to be outdated. In a week the distribution already needs a new catalog, as an annual meeting is pending with the customer.
The catalog manager of Miller Ltd. transmits the error list of Mr. Ames as tasks in the MeDaPro Work Manager. For this purpose, the wrongly maintained article is marked and delegated within a task to a competent employee. To update images and information, Employees can jump to the article from their cockpit directly. Meanwhile, the catalog manager has an overview on his own always and delegates tasks as well as work progress by his MeDaPro Cockpit. As soon as all the points are done, he can approve production start of the new catalog.
