Our photovoltaic systems
Climate change is having a massive impact on our environment. Unfortunately, the dramatic flood disaster in July 2021 in the Eifel was not the first event to be attributed to climate change and will probably not be the last. Climate change is having different effects around the world.
In addition to the measures taken by the industrialized nations to stop climate change, responsibility begins at home. Because everyone can do their part to counteract climate change.
ITB is aware of its social responsibility and would like to make a contribution to ensuring that our earth also offers a home worth living in for future generations. That is why ITB has been climate-neutral since 2018 and has also been among the energy producers since September 2021. Two photovoltaic systems with a total area of 276 m² and a total capacity of 57.6 kW have been installed in peak on the open roof areas of the office buildings at the main Kamp-Lintfort site.
Under ideal conditions, this system covers the entire electricity requirement of both office buildings, charges the e-vehicle fleet at its own charging stations and also feeds green electricity into the grid.
The CO2 saved so far and the kWh generated including the maximum peak can be found in the continuously updated values on this page.
